I’m Pregnant!!!

I’m pregnant … we’re pregnant,  ok, ok … she’s pregnant.  Considering the title of this post, and further considering that I am the proud impregnator,  I just had to clear that up. After all I wouldn’t want to you confuse me for the pregnant man (see photo below).

Like I said, my wife “B”  is the pregnant one, but I figure I did my fair share to get us to this point and have a lot more to do for the rest of my life …  minus the whole having a uterus with a human growing inside of me part of course.

I couldn’t be happier about having a kid. That said … I already feel the pressure building. Its crazy how different life already feels just a few weeks ago after I found out she was pregnant. And by different, I mean completely different. Different in more ways than I can possibly describe. But seeing how I have a habit of tackling the impossible, I am going to attempt to describe what is happening and how it makes me/us feel through this blog. At the end of the day, I figure that writing about my experiences good, bad, or other should be at the very least therapeutic, and at best entertaining.

Only thing is that we shouldn’t / can’t / don’t want to tell people until we get through the first trimester (12+ weeks). As of last Wednesday 8/5/09 we were at 8 weeks.   That just means I’ll keep these posts private for the next month or so … then BOOM!!! I’ll hit you over the head with a bunch at once and temporarily at least, seem prolific. That’s the plan at least…
